Netanyahu vows ‘strong action’ after Gaza rocket fire

Over the weekend, the Israeli military struck several Hamas bases and training camps as Hamas fired several hundred rockets and mortars at communities in Israel.
Two teenagers in the Palestinian territories were killed in an Israeli air strike, while four Israelis were hurt after rocket struck their home in Sderot.
According to Israeli state television, the so-called Iron Dome missile defence system intercepted at least 30 of the rockets heading toward Israel.
On Monday, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited a local junior school in Sderot, telling citizens that his government would put a stop rocket fire.
He said Hamas would face a ‘wall of steel’ if it kept up its campaign, but warned the threat wouldn't disappear straight away.
His visit came just 24-hours after an informal ceasefire began.
